Denver Nuggets forward Michael Porter Jr. (illness) will play on Wednesday against Phoenix. He's made appearances on the injury report of late because of a non-COVID-illness. Yet, it hasn't cost him any time. However, the 25-year-old has combined for 23 points in the Nuggets' previous two games, so he may not be worth rostering in DFS contests until he's fully healthy.

According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid (knee) might return before the end of the regular season. Wojnarowski stated that it's not a matter of "if" but "when," while adding the team hopes to get him back with at least a few games left before the postseason begins. The 30-year-old averaged a career-high 35.3 points with 11.3 rebounds, 5.7 assists, and 1.8 blocks before going down with a knee injury at the end of January. Of course, it could take him a few games to get back up to speed. However, Embiid's presence will immediately mean less work for Mo Bamba and Paul Reed, who have seen an uptick in production while the reigning MVP has been sidelined.

New York Knicks guard/forward Alec Burks (shoulder) will miss a second consecutive game on Wednesday versus Toronto. There was initially hope of him returning when the team listed him as questionable for the game, but Burks has now been downgraded to out. Burks' absence leaves the Knicks without a good scoring option off the bench. He's averaged around 15 minutes a night in the Big Apple, and Bojan Bogdanovic will have a chance to get some extra action off the Knicks bench without Burks.

New York Knicks center Mitchell Robinson (ankle) is officially available for Wednesday's matchup against Toronto. After recovering from ankle surgery, he will make his first appearance since Dec. 8. New York's defensive anchor played a massive role at the start of the campaign, but it's likely he will return with some kind of a minutes restriction, which will limit his fantasy value on Wednesday. Robinson will eat into the minutes of Isaiah Hartenstein, who's been the Knicks' starter in the middle during his absence.

Chicago Bulls guard Alex Caruso (ankle) will be in the lineup on Wednesday against Indiana. The team has upgraded him from questionable to available as Caruso continues to play through an ankle problem. The 30-year-old has saved some of his best performances of the season for the Pacers. He has averaged 15.3 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 1.5 steals across three games against them, with 60 percent shooting from deep.

Portland Trail Blazers center Deandre Ayton (elbow) will miss a fourth straight contest against Atlanta on Wednesday. The injury-prone big man is dealing with an elbow issue and will have his next chance to return on Friday versus Miami. Duop Reath is getting another start in Ayton's place. He tends to be a bit inconsistent with his performances, but Reath has posted solid numbers in a starting role and will find himself in a juicy matchup on Wednesday. Atlanta is a struggling defensive team, and opposing centers usually feast against the Hawks on the glass.

Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (quadriceps) will sit out Wednesday's clash against Houston. OKC completes a back-to-back versus the Rockets, and the MVP candidate will sit out the action with a quadriceps injury he has been carrying since last week. Rookie Cason Wallace and sniper Isaiah Joe are looking at an opportunity to play more in Gilgeous-Alexander's absence. It's not a good spot for the two to perform, as Houston boasts a 112.1 defensive rating, which puts the team eighth in the league.

New York Knicks center Mitchell Robinson (ankle) is expected to be active and available to play in Wednesday's matchup versus the Toronto Raptors. Upgraded to questionable on Wednesday morning, Robinson now moves to the cusp of a return following ankle surgery that's kept him out since Dec. 8. The shot-blocking big man is going to face minutes restrictions upon his return to the floor for the 43-28 Knicks, so he won't be a recommended fantasy option in season-long or DFS settings in his first game back, despite a matchup against a Raptors bunch allowing the seventh-most FanDuel points to opposing centers. Isaiah Hartenstein has filled in admirably down low in the Big Apple, averaging 8.1 points on 65.0% shooting from the field, 9.9 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 2.5 combined steals plus blocks over 39 starts this season, but he has the most to lose from a fantasy perspective with Robinson back in the mix.

Portland Trail Blazers guard Anfernee Simons (knee) will remain sidelined for a third straight game on Wednesday versus Atlanta. He's hurt his left knee, and the team has zero initiative to rush him back with the season basically done and dusted. We should see Rayan Rupert get a third consecutive start while Scoot Henderson will continue to have the ball more in his hands. It's been a bumpy rookie campaign for the third-overall pick from last year, but Henderson has performed well lately and should have another productive outing against a team that has the fourth-worst defensive rating in the league. Dalano Banton is another guy who plays a larger role without Simons, and his confidence should be sky-high ahead of Wednesday's action after he had a big 28-point, 11-rebound double-double versus Houston on Monday.

Portland Trail Blazers center Deandre Ayton (elbow) is questionable for Wednesday's favorable matchup against Atlanta. A left elbow injury could keep Ayton out of the lineup for a fourth straight game. His health issues have benefited Duop Reath throughout the campaign, and the 27-year-old rookie has again put together a pair of strong performances lately as a member of the first unit. He's had 13.0 points and 5.8 rebounds in 27.2 minutes across the entire season in a starting role. The Hawks are currently missing Onyeka Okongwu (toe) from the lineup and have had a tough time against centers all season. Only three teams have given up more rebounds per 48 minutes to opposing fives, and the shooting percentage for centers has been at 59.4 percent against Atlanta.

Dallas Mavericks forward/center Maxi Kleber (knee) will play on Tuesday versus Sacramento. Dallas needs a win on Tuesday night, so it's all hands on deck for this one. Luka Doncic (Achilles) is available, which is undoubtedly good news. And while Kleber provides depth for the Mavs, he's only averaged 2.2 points and 2.7 rebounds in the last 10 games, meaning he's not worth considering for DFS contests.

Dallas Mavericks guard Luka Doncic (Achilles) will play on Tuesday against the Sacramento Kings. The 25-year-old logged 41 minutes in Monday's win over the Utah Jazz. However, he popped up on the injury report on Tuesday because of Achilles soreness. But Dallas is fighting to secure at least a sixth seed in the Western Conference, so it would have taken a lot to keep Doncic off the floor for this one. As usual, he is in the MVP conversation and remains a lock for all fantasy lineups. Yet, Doncic has averaged 26.5 points in two meetings with Sacramento this season, meaning he may not be as productive as usual.

Sacramento Kings forward Sasha Vezenkov (ankle) will not play against the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday. The 28-year-old has been nursing an ankle injury for over a month. His next opportunity to return is on Friday in a rematch with the Mavericks. He hasn't really been missed since his exit from the lineup, as he has averaged just 5.6 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 0.4 assists across 35 games this season.

Boston Celtics guard Derrick White (hand) won't play in Monday's matchup with the Atlanta Hawks. Jaylen Brown (ankle), Kristaps Porzingis (hamstring), and Jayson Tatum (ankle) missed time recently, so it's White's turn to get the night off. There's nothing to suggest his hand sprain is severe, meaning he could be back in the lineup for the rematch on Thursday evening. With Jrue Holiday (shoulder) also sidelined, Payton Pritchard and Sam Hauser are expected to slide into the starting lineup, giving them a higher ceiling for fantasy managers.

Each member of Denver's starting five, besides Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, are now uncertain to play against the injury-depleted Grizzlies, making it difficult to cast judgments on their rotation at this time. As it stands, the defensive-minded Peyton Watson and spot-up wing Christian Braun are names to watch who could be primed for amplified workloads for the defending champions based on who is available.

Portland Trail Blazers guard Anfernee Simons (knee) has been ruled out for Monday's contest against the Houston Rockets. Simons is experiencing tendinitis in his left knee that will keep him off the court for a second straight game, with his next opportunity to play arriving on Wednesday against the Atlanta Hawks. The last-place Blazers are certainly in no hurry to get their franchise two-guard back on the floor, however, at this stage of a lost season in Rip City. 2023 No. 2 overall pick Scoot Henderson has scuffled throughout his rookie campaign but has a chance to be a "silly-season" hero during the fantasy playoffs, starting six of Portland's past nine matchups. Across his last six appearances with Simons out of the lineup, Henderson is averaging 18.0 points, 5.7 assists, 4.3 rebounds, 1.0 steals, and 1.6 treys in 28.1 minutes and belongs in all lineups in points leagues.

Utah Jazz point guard Kris Dunn has been suspended for two games. He's received the punishment for getting into a scuffle with Houston's Jabari Smith Jr. on Saturday night, with fists being thrown. The suspension forces Dunn to miss Monday's matchup versus Dallas and Wednesday's clash with San Antonio. He will be eligible to return to action on Friday, ironically in a rematch against Houston. Dunn has started four of Utah's last five games and is averaging 5.3 points and 3.9 assists for the season. Kira Lewis Jr.'s role should be much bigger in the next couple of games, while Dunn's suspension will give a further boost to the fantasy value of Keyonte George and Collin Sexton, who have already benefited from Jordan Clarkson's (groin) absence.

Dallas Mavericks forward/center Maxi Kleber (knee) is questionable for Monday's tilt with Utah due to left knee soreness. If the big man is unavailable, Dereck Lively and Daniel Gafford would likely see more action than usual. Kleber has played in just 33 contests this season, averaging 20.9 minutes per game while posting 4.4 points, 3.3 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 0.6 blocks. He should not be considered an option for fantasy play on Monday.

Washington Wizards guard Landry Shamet (calf) will miss his eighth straight game on Monday versus the Bulls. Shamet has been shelved with a left calf strain, and it is unknown when he will return. Before missing time, he averaged 7.1 points, 1.3 rebounds and 1.2 assists across 46 contests. Washington could potentially have seven players out with injuries for Monday's game, with 27-year-old guard Jordan Poole (ankle) listed as questionable.
